Dr. T.M. Rajalaxmi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics. She obtained her B. Sc. Mathematics from Ethiraj College for Women, University of Madras,
M. Sc. Mathematics from  Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University, Chennai and        M. Phil. Mathematics from Ramanujan Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics, University of Madras. She obtained her Ph.D. from SSN College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai. She has two years of teaching experience and 6 years of research experience in the field of Fuzzy Markov Models and Fuzzy Hidden Markov Models. Her main research interests lie in the areas of types of fuzzy hidden Markov models & its applications and in the fuzzy graph theory. To her credit she has published over 6 research publications in renowned journals and proceedings.
