  • His Ph.D research work involved experimental investigation and numerical modeling of mechanical initiation of matchhead composition for different in-process contact materials to avert fire accidents during processing of energetic compounds. The computational approach can be used as an alternative tool to predict initiation parameters of an energetic compound.

Teaching & Research:

  • He has total teaching and research experience for more than 15 years.
  • His area of research interests are in Crash worthiness of metallic and composite tubes, Development of natural fibers for crashworthiness application, Development of blast resistance structures.
  • He is a recognised supervisor for guiding Ph.Dscholars of Anna University, Chennai.
  • Currently,1 Ph.D research scholar of Anna University is working under his supervision. 1 Ph.D Research Scholar submitted his thesis.
  • He is currently handling 1 sponsored student project funded by SSN Trust.
  • He has 18 International Journals, Conducted Sponsored Conference and FDP to his credit.
  • He is a reviewer for refereed International journals (thin walled structures. International journal of industrial textiles) in his area of interest.
