Dr. N. P. Rajesh is a Doctorate from Anna University, Chennai, in the research field of Crystal growth and characterization of nonlinear optical crystals. He has more than 11 years of research and teaching experience, and published more than 70 papers in conferences. He also has more than 50 international publications to his credit. His research work involves study of nucleation kinetics and nonlinear optical properties of solution grown materials from fundamental as well as applied perspectives. He is working in the field of Crystal Growth since 1996, with emphasis on the growth of Ferroelectric and Nonlinear Optical Crystals for device applications. He has an extensive experience on the synthesis of organic & semi-organic materials, instrumentation for crystal growth, material characterization and device fabrication. He has developed a novel process for the enhancement of meta stable zone width enabling growing crystals at a faster rate, and also growing bigger crystals.
