Dr. A. Rajalakshmi is a Doctorate from IIT, Madras. Her field of research was X-ray spectroscopy (EXAFS) & X-ray crystallography.

She received her M.Sc. Physics (Specialisation in Nuclear Physics) Degree from Queen Mary’s college, University of Madras in 1983. She had won the K.S. Krishnan Gold Medal for securing I rank in the Madras University for the same.

She has more than 20 years of research and teaching experience. She has published 10 Journal papers  & 7 papers in Conferences. She is a recognised guide of  Anna University in the fields of Spectroscopy , Environmental and Radiation Physics.

1) Member of Syllabus Sub Committee for Physics (B.E/B.Tech) for Anna University Regulations 2004.
2) Member of Syllabus Sub Committee for Physics (B.E/B.Tech, Annual Pattern), Anna University.
