Dr. A. Yuvaraj M.A., M. Phil., Ph.D.
Dr. A.Yuvaraj was awarded PhD in English Language Teaching (ELT) by Anna University Chennai, in 2010. He worked on some of the pedagogical issues pertaining to the teaching of English to young learners in state-run schools in Tamil Nadu for his doctoral degree programme. His M.Phil. dissertation was on exploring literature to enhance the language skills of second language learners at the tertiary level. Having cleared the State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) conducted by the Bharathidasan University, Trichy, and accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC), he qualified himself for lectureship in colleges and universities in India.
He has twelve years of experience in teaching, which includes a brief stint at Anna University Chennai, as a Teaching Fellow. He was a resource person for various faculty development programmes organized by the Department of English, College of Engineering, (CEG) Anna University Chennai. He has presented papers in national and international conferences, and also published articles on theoretical issues relating to child language learning and using language games to teach grammar.
