Dr. N. Venkateswaran earned his PhD from Anna University, Chennai in information and communication for his thesis in the area Image Compression and earlier obtained his MTech degree in Communication Systems from Pondicherry Engineering College, Pondicherry University. Before joining with SSN college of Engineering, he was Professor at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Sriperumbudur.

He has more than 23 years of teaching, research experience and in addition 8 years of industry experience. He has published over 35 papers in National and International journals and more than 35 papers in national and International Conferences. As a principal investigator, currently involved in ISRO -SAC funded project. He has organized and conducted four FDP Programmes and One National Conference.  He is a research supervisor in the fields of Image and Signal Processing, Computer Vision, Deep Learning and AI, Remote sensing, Wireless communication and Optimization. Under his supervision he has awarded five Ph.D.’s. He is currently supervising four Ph. D scholars.
