Ms. S. Vidhusha has nearly 9 years of teaching experience that includes over 6.5 years of research experience as of March 2020. She received her B. E. – computer science and engineering with distinction from Sri Sairam Engineering College during the year 2009 and M. E. – computer and communication with first class grade from Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering during the year 2011. Her research in the field of cognitive neuroscience opened avenues for parallelly building her professional career along with teaching. She had opportunities to visit countries like Australia & USA. During her visit to the United States, she had been to Drexel University, Philadelphia to open avenues for collaborative research and extend her research networking which paved way to mentor the iSTAR project students consecutively for two years. Earlier, she worked as an assistant professor at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering for close to a year and joined as an assistant professor at SSN College of Engineering in the year 2012. She has been an active member of IEEE professional body since 2020.

Workshops organized:

  • Coordinator of SSN sponsored two-day workshop on “Machine Learning Techniques for Building Intelligent Systems”, during 27th & 28th Sep’ 2019. A total of 35 participants (faculty members, research scholars, industry delegate and students) from various institutions & universitiesattended the workshop. The sessions were handled by resource persons from CTS, Mr. Cooper, VIT & SSNCE.
  • Coordinator of SSN sponsored two-day workshop on “Machine Learning Techniques for Image-Based Applications”, during 09th & 10th Feb’ 2017.A total of 76 participants (faculty members, research scholars and students) from various institutions & universities attended the workshop. The sessions were handled by resource persons from IIT Madras, CTS, IIIT-DM & SSNCE.
  • Coordinator of SSN sponsored two-day workshop on “Research Prospects in Image Fusion and Registration”, during 01st & 02nd Feb’ 2016.A total of 32 participants (faculty members, research scholars and students) from various institutions attended the workshop. The sessions were handled by resource persons from IIT Madras, MIT, REC, VIT-Chennai, IIIT-DM & SSNCE.
