Dr. M.Selvaraj, Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering has 23 years of teaching. He worked in various institutions such as Arbaminch University, Ethiopia, Sri Venkateswara college of Engineering, Sriperumbudur, and Dr.SivanthiAditanar College of Engineering, Tiruchendur.

He did his BE (Mechanical Engineering) degree (First class with distinction) from Madurai Kamaraj University, ME (Engineering Design) from the Government College Technology, Coimbatore and PhD from AnnaUniversity, Chennai. His research areas are Mehcanical vibrations, composites  andmodeling of Friction Stir Welding.

He has been teaching subjects such as Engineering Mechanics, Advanced Strength of Materials, Kinematics of Machinery, Dynamics of Machinery, Design of Machine Elements, Design of Transmission System, Finite Element Methods, Machine Tool Design, Mechanical Vibrations etc.
