Mr. D. Ebenezer had received his B.E (Mechanical) degree from Madras University and M.E. Energy Engineering from the PSG College of technology, Coimbatore.  He is currently pursuing Ph.D under Anna University in the area of material joining.

He has over 7 years of teaching experience and 3 and 1/2 years of research experience in the area of metal hydride energy conversion systems. He has published 5 research papers in international and national journals and 10 papers in international and national conferences. He has guided 4 theses at post graduate level.

He is also holding an internal funded project of worth Rs.6.40 lakh in the area of diffusion bonding. He has also guided 4 internal funded student projects of total worth over 1 lakh.

His areas on interests include: thermodynamics, heat transfer, CFD, solar energy conversion systems and diffusion bonding.
