E. M. Malathy is a Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at SSN College of Engineering.

She received her bachelor degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, India .She received M.E. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in System Engineering and Operation Research from College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University. She is pursuing PhD as part time research scholar at College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University. Current research work is on optimization of handover decisions in next generation wireless networks.

She has 18 years of teaching experience from Rajalakshim Engineering College, Chennai, SMK Fomra Institute of Technology, Chennai, K C G College of Technology, Chennai and with SSNCE from year 2007 onwards.
