Dr. KL. Hari Krishna, Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He has obtained his M.Tech (Design and Production Engineering) degree from Regional Engineering College, Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, (now it is NIT Warangal, Telangana). He completed his Ph.D. Degree in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, in the area of Welding Technology (Friction Stir Welding, Laser Beam Welding and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) of Magnesium alloy. He has 19 years of professional experience in teaching.

 Prior to joining SSN, he was worked in Raja Rajeswari Engineering College, Chennai and St.Peter’s Engineering College, Chennai. He has ten publications in international journal to his credit.Also he presented his research papers in various conferences in different prestigious institutions. He is a Doctoral committee member for two Ph.D scholars. Under his guidance, two part time research scholars were registered at Anna University, Chennai. He is a Life member in “Indian Institute of Welding”.Received seed amount of Rs.4,20000/- for his research work from SSN Trust for the period of two years (2016- 18).

He teaches Engineering Graphics, Engineering Mechanics, Kinematics of Machinery, Dynamics of Machinery, Design of Machine Elements, Design of Transmission Systems and Industrial Robotics. Under his guidance, many group of students received project fund from SSN Trust for their research work. Also students won prizes from TAFE – Innovista project completion held in the year 2017.

He is a receipt of Best Teacher Award in SSN College of Engineering for the academic year 2008-09 and 2009 – 10.Every semester, he got a very good feedback from the students and also produced very good university results. Apart from teaching and research, he  isactively involved in organizing Faculty Development Program’s (FDP), Workshops, National Conference and International Conference.

He has successfully implemented Robotics Lab in SSN College of Engineering in partnership with eyantra team from IITB, Mumbai. He has organized workshop on Robotics for Engineering College faculties in collaboration with eYantra – IITB, Mumbai.

His areas of interest are in FSW, LBW, GTAW, Ultrasonic Welding, Surface Engineering, Robotics, Flexible Manufacturing Systems, and Development of Composite Materials.
