Dr. M.Suresh did his B.E (Mechanical) from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, M.E (Thermal Sciences) in Refrigeration and Airconditioning from CEG, Anna University and Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras, in the area of Vapour absorption refrigeration.
