Dr. V. Vembarasan is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, SSN College of Engineering, Kalavakkam – 603110, Tamil Nadu since 30th March 2016. He has obtained his B.Sc., (Mathematics), M.Sc.Tech., (Industrial Mathematics with Computer Applications), M.Phil., (Mathematics), and Ph.D., (Mathematics) degrees from Gandhigram Rural Institute – Deemed University, Gandhigram in the years 2006, 2009, 2010, and 2013 respectively. He has received a Gold medal in M.Sc.Tech., degree for secured first rank holder. During his Ph.D. degree, he was awarded DST Inspire Fellowship (JRF & SRF) funded by the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. His Ph.D., thesis entitled “Studies on State Estimation and Synchronization for Continuous-Time Dynamical Systems” awarded on the merit of Highly Commended. His research experiences are in the field of stability analysis of time-delay systems, neural networks, fuzzy control systems, chaos synchronization. Also, he has worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur 50603, Malaysia during Jan.2014-Jan.2016. During his postdoctoral fellowship, he has acquired research experiences in the fields of machine learning and pattern recognition. To his credit, he has published 18 research articles in the SCI journals and national/international conferences. He has participated in many national/international level conferences /workshops /symposium across the nation. He is the active reviewer for many SCI/SCIE journals. He is the Member of IEEE, INNS, IAENG and Senior Member of IACSIT.
